What this means in practice
You may use, study, modify and redistribute ODDToolkit, including commercially. In return, if you distribute the toolkit — modified or not — you must pass on the same freedoms: ship the complete corresponding source under the GPL v3, keep the copyright and licence notices intact, and state the changes you made. Linking ODDToolkit into another program generally makes that program a derivative work, so it has to be GPL-compatible too. The software comes with no warranty of any kind.
This applies to the toolkit itself, not to the artefacts it generates from your ontology. Your ontology and the SQL, Java, TypeScript, SHACL, diagram, specification and contract files produced from it are yours.
If you plan to redistribute ODDToolkit or build on top of it, read the licence rather than this summary — it is the binding text, and this page is not legal advice.
